This educational and informational program centers on "The Perfect Storm":
The convergence of the threats of an advancing American Fifth Column in the
form of the Progressive Movement from within, an encroaching dogma of
fundamentalist Islamism and violent jihad externally, both of which are
facilitated by wide-spread constitutional illiteracy amongst the American
citizenry. During this approximately 90 minute presentation:
Frank Salvato, Executive Director for BasicsProject.org, will introduce "The
Perfect Storm" scenario and then examine the genesis and growth of the
Progressive Movement; the American Fifth Column, in the United States.
Dr. Paul L. Williams, investigative journalist and author of a number of
books on Islam, including The Al Qaeda Connection, The Day of
Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World and Osama's
Revenge, will examine the spread of fundamentalist Islam in the United
States and the threat of violent jihad from both external and internal
sources.
Nancy Salvato, President of BasicsProject.org, author of Keeping a
Republic: An Argument for Sovereignty and graduate of the National
Endowment for the Humanities' National Academy for Civics and Government,
will examine the crisis in constitutional literacy, not only among today's
students, but prevalent throughout the American citizenry.
